Disjointed day

I had a lie in this morning, I was so tired and didn't get up until 8.30, very late! Then I went to the gym to my new class.

I picked up some glazing stuff for the shed, the window cracked in bad weather a couple of weeks ago. Then I popped down to see my parents.

I came home and put the new window in, feeling qite proud that I managed it all by myself.

And that was my day, boring huh?

Still no word!

Believe me....8.30am is a lay in... its a wonderful wonderful lay in...

Bridget you are such a handyman (girl) I am truly envious that you can do all that you do. Thats not at all boring look at what you achieved in one day!

Gym, parents, hardware store, not to mention "just replacing a window" and a sleep in!

Do you think Dutchman has lost his phone? Do you have another number for him? Does he have another number for you? Could he have dropped, lost or broken his phone and lost all his contacts?

Its getting odd now....

Hugs sweetness

Morning ladies, back up at stupid o'clock this morning! Back to the studies.

Still no word from the Dutchman, yes he has lost his phone before and the last time he had to wait for the bill to come in to retrieve my number. My thoughts are partially going that way but then again he has not read the e-mail I sent on the 3rd. That suggests he is still away or ... I don't even want to consider the alternatives.

As for the handygirl bit Rosie, if I need a job doing I have to get on with it or it doesn't get done. My dad's too far and my brother is, well, let's just say if he ever leaves home I shall be fixing anything that goes wrong for him too. He is so not hands on!

Right time to write up the notes from Uni for my friend who did not make it to class.

Have a good day/night

Ok finaly i'm asking. Do you get a message when people read your emails or messages? Coz i don't! *Shudder* then people'd know when i was just ignoring them cause i didn't wanna deal with it!

Hi milla,

Well my phone has a delivery receipt that when a text message is sent it tells me that it has been delivered. If a phone is switched off, it keeps trying to send it for four days and as soon as the phone is switched on it is delivered. The recipient has no choice. They could still ignore it on receipt obviously.
If after 4 days it has still not got through I get a message saying it was undelivered.

As for the e-mail, we are on the same service provider so I can tell if he has opened the mail. Not whether he has logged on.

Does that help?
Bridget
