Books...the post script

I forgot to mention...why so much Dickens on the list and Thomas Hardy, boy did I hate having to read them at school, what were they trying to do, prevent us all from picking up literature as an adult?

Thomas Hardy....Paaaaahhhhhh Tess of the D'Urbervilles in particular....paaaahhhh and CK MADE me read that....paaaahh.

I like Dickens though and Far from the Madding Crowd.

I do agree though that they pick the worst books to read in English Lit at school!

I had to read Richard the Third....Gawddd.. why couldnt they pick Romeo and Juliet?
